How uplifting it twas- made me reclaim faith in vodaphone and life generally.
Am being plagued by a scammer at the moment who I challenged because s/he rather pushy and pressing the all the guilt buttons above voluntary giving
(She must have got my details from the lapsed catholic register) She implied I had agreed to spend £899 on an advert in a drugs awareness mag for schools.Once I rumbled that it was not a genuine drug awareness charity but was about getting your details and that some unsuspecting kind person would hand their details over, I challenged them and have since had 6 abusive calls today. Having seethed and shouted and sworn at the phone as I slammed it down for the 6th time,I have sent them away by manifesting a genie in my phone who screens all unwanted calls.
Also, this week I learnt that someone had either cloned my credit card or was using my details to spend £3,600 on line- yes £3,600 in 2 days- thankfully dear co-op visa are vigilance itself and phoned to say we don't think this is your spend. One item was a flight to Iceland. There were several on line purchases and a fridge freezer- maybe it was a penguin trying to get home?
Anyway, I was thinking right that's 2 out of 3 irritations - what is the third thing?
After reading your blog I've decided there is no third thing. I pity the scammers who are clearly so desperate for money they will lie and cheat.Same for the credit card thief. I can go to Iceland if I want and when I want and I can donate £900 to a drugs charity if I want to - Someday this lot will no doubt be sitting in Jail contemplating their navels and the absence of holidays for some months/years. They need some lessons in positive abundant thinking methinks.
Maybe I'll suggest it to Gordon Brown as an alternative to custody.

A salutary and very timely lesson here Marion! I was thinking of investing in mobile broadband for when we go on holiday this summer.... but after this, I've decided to go armed with a list of Whetherspoon pubs instead and take advantage of their abundance - free Wi-Fi access!
